About
Crossroads Families is a visionary project aimed at creating stable and loving homes for minor children in Bonnievale who, due to various circumstances, find themselves without a functional family structure and support but who wants to excel at school and thereafter.
This initiative goes beyond conventional approaches, avoiding labels such as children’s home, foster home, safe house, or school residence. Instead, Crossroad Families create homes that emulate a normal family setting, with a father and mother caring for up to six children in each household.
Two properties have been acquired in 2024. One for six boys, and one for six girls. House parents for every home and support staff were appointed, and necessary home renovations were done. Today both homes are fully occupied with the most beautiful children. But these are not clients, foster children, or numbers. We know everyone by name, take them to school every day, help them with homework and sit together for dinner every night. Doing life together.
Crossroad Family Homes is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with a board of directors, 4 house parents, and an operational manager overseeing daily operations.

Medical Attention:
They receive medical and dental attention as well as counselling services
Individual Development Plan:
An individual development plan is developed for every child according to their potential.
